# Send SMS extension

If you have a base with a list of phone numbers—for an employee directory, a list of volunteers, or a club roster—you can easily message people from that list with just a few clicks using the Send SMS extension.

## Adding a Send SMS extension

1. Open your [Airtable home screen](https://airtable.com/).
2. Create or open the base where you want to install the Send SMS extension.
3. Click **Tools** in the upper-right corner.
4. Click the **Extensions** option.
5. Click **Add an extension**.
6. Search for and locate the Send SMS extension.
7. Click **Add**, then **Add** **extension.**

## Using the Send SMS extension

After adding a Send SMS extension:

1. Choose the table hosting the records you intend to use.
2. Choose the field hosting the numbers you intend to message.
3. Choose your preferred view type.
4. Click **Preview**.
5. Click **Send**.
