# Understanding my Airtable account and plan overview

## What is an Airtable account?

## What is an Airtable plan?

An [Airtable plan](/docs/airtable-plans) is a subscription level that determines the features, limits, and pricing for your workspace.

## How are Airtable accounts and plans different?

- Airtable accounts are individual user profiles with personal details like name and email.
- Airtable plans determine the features, limits, and pricing for workspaces.

## Is my Airtable plan connected to my account or my workspace?

All Airtable plans are connected to individual workspaces, not accounts.

All workspaces have their own plan type. While you can have more than 1 workspace with the same plan type, each workspace plan is unique to that workspace.
