# Vision extension

If you have an attachment field, the [Cloud Vision API](https://cloud.google.com/vision) can quickly classify your images into thousands of categories, and you can extract those labels and save them to a field in your table—meaning that you can tag hundreds of images with just a few clicks. You can also identify logos, or use optical character recognition (OCR) to extract text from images.

## Adding a Vision extension

1. Open your [Airtable home screen](https://airtable.com/).
2. Create or open the base where you want to install the vision extension.
3. Click **Tools** in the upper-right corner.
4. Click the **Extensions** option.
5. Click **Add an extension**.
6. Search for and locate the vision extension.
7. Click **Add**, then **Add** **extension.**
8. Click **Get started** and follow the on-screen prompt to create a Google Cloud project and an API key**.**

## Using the vision extension

After adding a vision extension:

1. Click **Use Vision**.
2. Select your preferred table, view, and attachment field.
3. Click **Done**.
4. Select your preferred features to extract.
5. Click **Analyze**, then **Start**.
6. Select your preferred labels, logos, or text.
7. Click **Save**.
