The following article discusses how to go about regaining access to an Airtable account when you have lost access to the email address associated with that Airtable account.
I lost access to my email address, so I can't change my password. What should I do?
As with many online services, you must have an active email address in order to create an Airtable account. Airtable also requires that you have access to this email address to change your account password. This security procedure allows us to protect your account against unauthorized access.
If you've lost the password to the email address associated with your Airtable account, we cannot help you regain account access. However, there are some other methods you can try to regain access.
Ask existing collaborators to share workspaces and bases with your new email address
If there were any other collaborators on those workspaces or bases in your account, we recommend asking them to share the workspaces or bases with your new email address.
Regaining Airtable account access when you still have your account password
If you've lost access to the email address associated with your Airtable account but still remember your password, try to sign in to your Airtable account and then immediately change your email address using the steps described in this support article on changing the email address associated with your account.
Contact your email service provider
If you've lost access to your email address (due to a lost password, or any other reason), we recommend that you try contacting your email service provider to regain access to your email account. Only your email service provider has the ability and authorization to help you regain access to your email address.
Regaining Airtable access via the mobile or desktop app
If you're unable to access your Airtable account on airtable.com, consider whether you are currently signed into Airtable in the macOS, Windows, iOS, or Android app. For example, if you used Airtable on both your home computer and a phone or tablet, perhaps you're still signed in to the app on one of those devices.
If this is the case, you can use this device to share your files with another, new account:
If you still have access to a computer or mobile device that is logged into your Airtable account, you can share your workspaces/bases with another Airtable account—read our collaboration guide for more details.
What to do if none of the above has worked
As mentioned in this article, if you have lost access to the email address on your Airtable account and do not know the password, then for security reasons we cannot help you regain access to that account. Only your email service provider can help you regain access to an email account. If your email service provider is able to help you regain access, you can then request a password reset link for your Airtable account.
