The Calendar view is available on both Android and iOS. The calendar view allows you to create, view, or delete records all from a familiar calendar interface. The calendar view also features a Schedule view mode so you can easily see what's coming up tomorrow, next week, or even next year.
NOTE
The images in the article below cover the Android experience, but the iOS version will look much the same. We will call out any larger differences whenever necessary.IN THIS ARTICLE

Creating a calendar view
TIP
Always keep your Airtable Android or iOS app up to date to take advantage of our newest features! If your table has a date field you can create a calendar view to easily see that record’s date field on a calendar. Start by opening the View side panel and selecting the “Create a view” option.
To create a calendar view select the “Calendar” option, and you can optionally choose to give that view a unique name. For this example we’ll create a calendar to keep track of the timelines for our production schedule.
You can then touch “Done” to create your new calendar view. Once the view is created, touch the “Date field” option in the top right corner of the screen to open the date field picker.
Once the date field picker is open you can manually select the date field from your table that you’d like your calendar to display.

With a date field selected, your calendar view will populate with that table’s records on the dates from your selected date field.

TIP
In the calendar view mode a date will have a maximum of two dots, even on days with more than two events. You can select a day to expand it, and see all events scheduled for that day.To change the calendar view's associated date field (or date fields, if you have a Pro plan), touching the “Date field” option will open up the date field picker again.
Defining a date range
NOTE
Advanced calendar view features such as date ranges and multiple date fields are only available on the Pro plan. We do not currently support record coloring in mobile calendar view.If you are a Pro plan user, you can use the date field picker to define date ranges within your calendar view. To define a date range you must select two dates: the first is a start date, and the second is an end date. Opening the date field picker will allow you to select a second date by using the dropdown menu next to the word “to”:
If you’d like to remove a date range you can touch the “Remove” button to the right of that range.
Defining multiple date ranges
You can add multiple date ranges to track your records according to your needs.
In the above example we created two date ranges, the first will keep track of our publishing timeline, and the second will keep track of our review timeline. When using multiple date ranges we recommend adding labels to each date range so you can clearly see which records fall into which ranges.
Below is a result from using the example date ranges above:
One record falls into the Review Timeline date range, and the other falls into the Publish timeline date range. Thanks to our date range labels, the records are clearly labelled to show which date range each record belongs to.
Using different view modes
The calendar view allows users to zoom out and in by taking advantage of its two view modes: the Calendar view mode, and the streamlined Schedule view mode. You can toggle between the calendar and schedule view modes by selecting the option at the top of the screen.
The schedule view mode will allow you zoom out to easily see all your records, and their dates, in one place.
TIP
If you want to see records for today’s date you can always touch the “Today” button in the top left of both the calendar and schedule view modes.Creating and editing records
You can create a new record by clicking on the orange “+” symbol in either calendar or schedule view modes.
You can also create a new record in the calendar view mode by selecting a date and touching the “Add Record” option at the bottom of the screen.
You can expand, and edit, a record by touching that record. The record will then fill the screen and you can edit the individual fields as needed.
Duplicating, editing, or deleting a calendar view
To see the settings for your calendar view itself: open up the view sidebar, select your calendar view, and touch the “Edit View” button.
This will open a menu that will allow you to edit the name, add a description, duplicate, or delete that calendar view.
