Where to find your password details
You can find your password details by opening your Airtable account page. Depending on how you sign in to Airtable, you'll see different options for managing your password.
Change your manual login password
A manual login means that you've entered an email address and password to login to Airtable (rather than signing in through a service like Google). To update your manual login password, click on "Update password". You can then enter your current password and your desired new password, and afterwards click "Save new password".
Password requirements for manual login
For email and password login, Airtable enforces a minimum password length of 8 characters. You are able to reuse password and Airtable does not enforce password rotation. After multiple failed password attempts, Airtable will enforce a delay between retries. After ten incorrect password attempts, Airtable will prevent any new attempts for 10 minutes.
Change your Google login password
Setting a password for the first time
If you signed up for Airtable with a Google login, you won't see the Update password option—you'll instead see a + Add password option.
Clicking this will send a password creation link to your associated Gmail account. You'll need to create an Airtable-specific password if you originally signed up with a Google login but would like to change the email address for your account.
Changing an existing password
If you've previously added a password and want to change it, click "Update your password". Then, enter your new password, as well as your current password, and then click "Save new password".
Password requirements for Google login
For Google login, the password requirements are enforced by the Google account’s administrator.
Change your Apple login password
Setting a password for the first time
If you signed up for Airtable with an Apple login, you won't see the Update password option—you'll instead see a + Add password option.
Clicking this will send a password creation link to your associated email account. You'll need to create an Airtable-specific password using the link provided in the email.
Changing an existing password
If you've previously added a password and want to change it, click "Update your password". Then, enter your new password, as well as your current password, and then click "Save new password".
How to reset your password
If you forgot your password or need to reset your password, go directly to https://airtable.com/forgot. You will then be asked to enter your email to reset your password. You must have access to the email associated with your account in order to reset your password.
Switch from Google to manual login
If you've already signed up for Airtable with your Google account, you can go through a few steps to revoke your Google login with Airtable, and login with a username and password instead.
First, add a password to your Airtable account by visiting airtable.com/account (following the steps above). Once you've successfully added a password, sign-out of Airtable.
Then go to https://myaccount.google.com/security and revoke Airtable from your list of third-party apps with account access.
After you've revoked Airtable's permissions, sign back in to Airtable using your email address and password.
Please note that contact information previously shared through Google will remain in Airtable; however, we won't be able to see your Google contacts. We use these imported contacts only for providing suggestions in the workspace and base sharing dialogs.
