Any student with a current school-issued email address can gain access to our student Pro plan. This extended free trial (6 months to 24 months) is meant to give students an opportunity to experiment with and use the powerful features and increased limits that come with a typical Airtable Pro license.
How to sign up
While signed in to your Airtable account, students can follow this link to get the plan. If you need to update your account with an EDU email, check out this article to learn how. If you do not have a .edu domain attached to your school email, you can fill out the form here: Student Access Form
Student plan overview
After signing up via one of the methods listed above, the length of the Student Pro plan trial that you receive is uniquely based upon the date on which you will graduate. You can expect to see a feature set that mimics the conventional Airtable Pro plan. This means that you will see:
- A record limit of 50,000 records per base
- An attachment limit of 20GB per base
- A 1-year record revision history
- Access and increased limits to our very popular features such as Automations, Airtable Sync, Apps, and much more.
If you are brand new to Airtable we recommend checking out our Getting started guide. You can also peruse some of our favorite school-related templates:
I'm an educator, are there any free plan offerings for me?
At the moment, we do not offer a free pro version for educators, however, educators and non-profit organizations can apply for a half-off discount. Learn more here.
What happens at the end of my trial period?
At the end of your Student Pro plan trial period, any workspaces that you have created will default to the free version of Airtable. This means that they will be subject to the limitations of the free plan. After a base reaches its plan's record or attachment storage limit, we do not immediately restrict you from adding more information to the over-limit base. We provide a reasonable timeframe to either upgrade the workspace or to bring the base back within its plan's limits. Free plan workspaces do not allow the usage of our Apps feature. Existing installations of apps in your bases will be disabled. This means that you will be unable to view or interact with these apps.
