Learn more about Airtable's DORA response in the support article below. Note that this feature is only available for Enterprise Scale customers.
DORA
The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is a European regulation designed to enhance the IT security and resilience of financial entities, such as banks, investment firms, and insurance companies. DORA establishes a comprehensive framework to ensure financial institutions can withstand, respond to, and recover from all types of ICT-related disruptions and threats. ICT, or Information and Communications Technology, encompasses the technology and systems used for managing and processing information, including computers, and software applications, which are crucial for safeguarding the stability of the financial system.
Is there a DORA Certification?
As of now, there is no specific DORA certification issued by the European Union or any official body tied directly to the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). Financial institutions must independently assess their compliance with DORA's requirements and ensure that their third-party service providers adhere to these standards.
How does Airtable support financial-sector customers with DORA Compliance?
At Airtable, the security and resilience of our customers’ data are paramount. To assist Enterprise Scale customers with their DORA compliance requirements, Airtable offers an additional DORA Addendum. This addendum is crafted to support our customers’ DORA-specific needs, helping our enterprise customers seamlessly integrate Airtable into their operational frameworks while maintaining compliance.
In addition to this, Airtable is committed to robust security practices, including SOC2 Type II, ISO27001, and ISO27701 certifications, which further support our customers’ compliance efforts. For more information on Airtable’s security and privacy practices, please refer to airtable.com/security and airtable.com/privacy.
