Apps by Airtable are out-of-the-box applications for daily business needs that don't require immediate building or development. Instead, our apps are ready to use but still dynamic enough for customization — helping accelerate value for people and teams by leveraging Airtable's flexibility.

Setting up apps by Airtable
To set the pre-built Feedback app:
- Select Use an app by Airtable and click Continue.
- Click For product.
- Select Feedback and click Continue.
Because the Feedback app is designed to collect and track feedback, you’re asked to add specific tags that your team is tracking. For example, you might want to track ongoing bugs, design feedback, and feature requests.
In addition to documenting what your team is tracking, you can also assign each tag a unique color by clicking the dropdown arrow next to each tag’s name.
After adding feedback tags, select Continue, where you’re asked to add the features your team is tracking.
To set the pre-built Requests app:
- Select Use an app by Airtable and click Continue.
- Click For product.
- Select Requests and click Continue.
Because the Requests app is designed to collect and track requests, you’re asked to add specific tags that your team is tracking. For example, you might want to track requests for things like blog posts, illustrations, and newsletters.
In addition to documenting what your team is tracking, you can also assign each tag a unique color by clicking the dropdown arrow next to each tag’s name.
After adding requests tags, select Continue to complete the Requests app setup.
To set up a personalized app:
- Select Build from scratch and click Continue.
- Name your app and choose a color.
- Select a tracking option from the list, or add your own.
- Select what to track in your project(s) and/or add your own.
- Select or create an automation and click Continue.
- Select an additional view (optional) and click Continue.
Using apps by Airtable
Inside your app, Airtable auto-fills some general information (examples) to help teams visualize how to use apps by Airtable and what they can make possible.
The Feedback app by Airtable lets you to:
- Filter by status, type, and tags
- Update records by type, status, and importance
- Mark feedback as reviewed
- Delete feedback records
- Copy and share feedback URLs
- Comment on feedback records
