  • Admins - Can perform the actions noted below in workspaces/bases where they are added as collaborators. Otherwise, admins can manage user permissions from Admin Panel.

  • All users - Can take various actions throughout Airtable as discussed in the article below.

Note: When "See who submitted a response" is enabled, form submitters must log into Airtable. A Created By field will be added to the source table if one doesn't exist.


Common form permission-related errors

Error

Cause

"Refresh page to submit form"

Form is set to "Users with base access" but user has read-only or commenter permissions; or a conditional field contains an invalid condition

"Lost connection to the server"

Interface-only users accessing a form URL missing /form at the end. Correct format: https://airtable.com/appXXXXX/pagXXXXX/form
