What are tables in Airtable?
Tables in Airtable contain a shared type of information across all records in that table. They store information about a single type of item, such as products, projects, tasks, and marketing campaign data.
Airtable allows users to connect information—from different tables across a base—using features like linked records, lookups, rollups, Airtable Automations, and more.

Hiding a table isn't a permission control. It removes the table from the table bar to reduce clutter, but anyone with access to the base can show it again, and the table's data stays readable through search, linked records, and the API. To genuinely keep data away from someone, don't put it in a base they can open — use a separate base, a base share link, or add them as an interface-only collaborator instead. Keep in mind that base access also carries through to every interface built on that base.
