NOTE
The Airtable web clipper browser extension can only be used when accessing Airtable in Google Chrome.
Installing the web clipper extension in Google Chrome
Open Chrome and go to the Airtable Chrome extension.
Click Add to Chrome.
Click Add extension.
A popup appears stating that you can, “Manage your extensions by clicking Extensions in the Window menu.”
Adding a web clipper extension
Open your Airtable homepage.
Open the base where you want to add clipped records.
Click Tools in the upper-right corner.
Click the Extensions option.
Click Add an extension.
Search for and locate the web clipper extension.
Click Add, then Add extension.
Click Add record to table, then Add record.
Click Show in Airtable.
Using clip actions in a web clipper extension
To customize clip action settings:

Customizing clip actions lets you choose what kind of content goes into different fields when creating records using the browser extension.
Open your Airtable home screen.
Open the base where you want to add clipped records.
Click on Tools in the upper-right corner of the base where you want to create the extension.
Click the Extensions option.
Click the “Field” dropdown and select your preferred field.
Click the “Default value” dropdown and select your preferred default value.
Click Done.
To add clip actions:

Your clip actions' fields can vary depending on whether and how they're customized. Some fields might be prefilled with the web page's default values—like the page title or URL—while others might be blank. You can also create default values from CSS selectors.
Open Chrome.
While browsing a web page, click on your web clipper icon to bring up the list of available clip actions.
Select your preferred clip action and the associated available options.
Click Add record, then Show in Airtable.
To remove clip actions:
Open Chrome.
Click the web clipper icon to bring up the list of available clip actions.
Select the clip action you want to remove.
Click the … icon.
Click Remove clip action.
To import clip actions:
Open your Airtable home screen.
Open the base where you want to add clipped records.
Click on Tools in the upper-right corner of the base where you want to create the extension.
Click the Extensions option.
Click Import.
To export clip actions:
Open your Airtable home screen.
Open the base where you want to add clipped records.
Click on Tools in the upper-right corner of the base where you want to create the extension.
Click the Extensions option.
Click Export.
Select Click to copy.
