Gantt layout in timeline view overview
With the Gantt layout in timeline view, each record is visible in its lane, and dependencies are displayed as arrows between records (shown below). You can drag additional arrows between records to create dependency links.

Visit your Airtable homepage.
Open your preferred base.
Select your preferred timeline view.
Click Appearance in the menu and select the “Gantt” icon.
Click the ⌄ icon next to the “Record height” section and choose “Short.”
Click the ⌄ icon next to the “Record width” section and choose “Precise.”

Visit your Airtable homepage.
Open your preferred base.
Click Interfaces.
Select your preferred timeline view.
Gantt layout in timeline view limitations
Gantt layout works in timeline view and is available in Airtable interfaces, while Gantt view is only available in bases.
All records must be "Short" in height and "Precise" in width to Gantt layout in timeline view.
