Deleting your Airtable account

NOTE

• If any of your workspaces or bases are shared with other people, deleting your account will not delete those workspaces and bases. In order to delete those workspaces/bases, you must first remove all shared users from each of those workspaces/bases, and then delete your account.

• If you are the sole owner of a workspace with multiple members, you will need to transfer ownership of that workspace to another member before deleting your account.

1. Visit your Account Overview.

2. Click Delete your Airtable user account at the bottom of the page.

   1. For security reasons, you will be required to sign in with your email and password again. Next, you will need to confirm you want to delete your permanently.

      

3. Click Yes, confirm deletion of my account.

Note

You may need to transfer ownership of any workspaces that you are the sole owner of before being able to delete your account. If you need further instruction on how to accomplish workspace transfers, then consult this article.

Deleting or canceling Airtable accounts via our Android app is currently not possible.

1. Open your Airtable iOS app.

2. Click your profile photo in the top-left corner

3. Click Delete user account at the bottom of the page.

4. Click Yes, confirm deletion of my account. 

You can cancel your paid plan subscription by downgrading your workspace to the Free plan. You will still have an active Airtable account.

If you cancel your Airtable account, all of your workspaces are still active if you are sharing your workspace with other collaborators. If you need to delete your Airtable account and all of the workspaces you are the owner of, you’ll need to delete your workspaces before deleting your Airtable account.

This article outlines how to unsubscribe from marketing emails. Keep in mind that we are required by law to send out certain legal communications via email such as changes to our Terms of Service to all active users. If you want to prevent receiving those emails as well, then you must delete your account as outlined above.

If you do not remember signing up, then visit https://airtable.com/login. Enter the email address that you believe is associated with an Airtable account. Enter a password that you think is most likely to be the password for the account. If the password is invalid, then a Forgot password? button will be shown. Click this button and follow the password recovery steps to regain access to the account. Once you have regained access with a new password, you can follow steps above to delete the account.
