What are Airtable credits?
Airtable credits are credits users and collaborators earn by inviting new users and collaborators. These credits can then be applied to a workspace where they can be used to pay for or offset future billing costs. Note that newly referred users/collaborators must accept their invitation before any Airtable credits are transferred to your account.
What are AI credits?
AI credits in Airtable grant access to and enable AI-powered features—like Omni, AI field agents, document analysis, web research, and more. Each AI action uses a certain number of credits, depending on the complexity and the amount of data processed.

How are Airtable credits and AI credits different?
Airtable credits are credits users and collaborators earn by inviting new users and collaborators. These credits can then be applied to a workspace where they can be used to pay for or offset future billing costs.
AI credits, on the other hand, are credits used by collaborators across your workspace to generate content using AI, query Omni, and more. While you can’t earn additional AI credits, you can purchase more credits.
How do I invite people to Airtable to earn Airtable credits?
Once a new user signs up or a collaborator accepts your invitation, you'll receive $10 in credit for every person you refer to Airtable
To invite someone to Airtable to earn credit:
Open your Airtable referral credits section.
Do one of the following:
Share your referral link: Copy the link under "Your referral link" and share it, or click Post or Share to send it directly.
Email an invite: Enter the email address of the person you want to invite under "Email an invite," then click Send invite.
To invite someone as a workspace collaborator to earn credit:
Open your Airtable account overview.
Select the workspace you want to invite your collaborator to join from "Workspace settings" section.
Click Collaborators.
Click Add or manage workspace collaborators.
Enter your collaborator’s email address, select their permission level, and click Invite.
To invite someone as base collaborator to earn credit:
Open your Airtable homepage.
Open the base you want to invite your collaborator to join.
Click Share.
Enter your collaborator’s email address, select their permission level, and click Invite.
Where do I find your credits in Airtable?
You can review both Airtable credits and AI credits in your account settings.
To find your Airtable and AI credits:
Open your Airtable referral credits section.
Review the "Understanding credit types" section, which is organized into three tabs:
Overview: A summary of your available Airtable credits and AI credits across your workspaces.
Airtable credits: Details about the Airtable credits you've earned, including a breakdown of recent activity.
Referral credits: Your referral link, email invitations, and a list of accepted invites that have earned credit.
How do I apply credits to my Airtable invoice?
Note
Airtable credits are not automatically applied to your workspace's invoice and must be transferred before your payment method is billed.
To transfer Airtable credits to a workspace’s invoice:
Open your Airtable referral credits section.
In the "Transfer credits" panel, review the "You currently have $X in credit" message.
This panel is not visible to accounts without any available Airtable credit.
Enter the amount of credit you want to apply in the "Amount to transfer" field.
Select the destination workspace from the "Destination workspace" drop-down.
Click Transfer, then Confirm.
How do I review my referrals and credits?
To review your referrals and credits:
Open your Airtable referral credits section.
Review the "Available Airtable credits" section, which shows your total credit balance and a breakdown listing each credit by source and amount.
The Your referral link” section allows you to view your referral link, email invitations, and the "Accepted invites" list.
Can Airtable credits be transferred from a workspace to an account?
No. Airtable credits can only be transferred from your account to a workspace.
When do Airtable credits expire?
Any credits earned on a Free plan expire after 90 days unless the plan is upgraded to a Team plan. For Team plans, credits expire 1 year after receiving them, or once your account is canceled, whichever comes first. Credits transferred to a workspace balance do not expire separately; they expire when the workspace is canceled.
Are Airtable credits available for use on Business or Enterprise Scale plans?
No. Business and Enterprise accounts cannot use or earn credits via referrals.
Why aren't my referral credits apppearing in my account?

Only Free or Team plan accounts earn Airtable credits
Business and Enterprise Scale accounts cannot earn or use referral Airtable credits
Referral credits only appear in your account after the person whow as invited person accepts their invitation and verifies their email. Confirm the person accepted the invitation.
What kinds of referrals are disqualified from earning Airtable credit?
The referral already has an Airtable account.
The referral has not verified their account via email.
The referral previously accepted another invitation for credits.

Can I earn Airtable credits by installing the Airtable mobile app?
Yes. In some cases, installing the Airtable mobile app can earn you Airtable credits, which appear in the in the "Available Airtable credits" section of your Airtable referral credits section.
