You can leave comments on a record on the mobile versions of the Airtable app. Comments are useful to communicate changes, elaborate on issues, and collaborate with other people who have access to the base.
To leave a comment on a record, click on a record, then click on the record activity button in the top right corner.
To leave a comment, click on the dialog at the bottom of the page that says "Add comment," type whatever you like, and click "Send."
You can also tap the "@" symbol to @mention your fellow workspace or base collaborators. @mentioning them will send them notifications.
@mentioning collaborators will send them notifications. Notifications will show up on the top bar of the home screen, on the bell icon in the top right.
Commenting on the Android app is a very similar experience to the iOS version of Airtable. There is a slight difference in the design of the icon you will push in order to create a comment.

Finally, to @mention a collaborator in the base you are commenting in simply type the @ symbol from your keyboard and start typing the name of the person you would like to @mention. If your base has a lot of collaborators, then as you type you should see potential collaborator matches show up in a bar just below the message box.
