Article Summary
Tables are an important part of the organizational structure of Airtable. Below, you'll find a bit more information about the concepts related to Tables.
Overview
In Airtable, a table is similar to a sheet in a spreadsheet. Fundamentally, Tables represent the next level down from Bases in the organizational structure of Airtable. Tables typically contain a shared type of information across all of the records held in that table.
Because Airtable is a relational database software, information held in different tables across a base can be connected via features like linked records, lookups, rollups, Airtable Automations, and more.
