Creating and deleting Airtable workspaces

What is an Airtable workspace?

A workspace is a collection of bases shared between a group of workspace collaborators. It is the primary billing unit for Team plans on Airtable. Business and Enterprise Scale plans are billed differently. For more billing information, please visit our pricing page.

Creating workspaces in Airtable

To create a workspace:

1. Open your Airtable home screen.

2. Click + Create in the lower-left corner.

Deleting workspaces in Airtable

Note

Items in your workspace trash can be restored for 30 days before being permanently removed.

Enterprise Scale plan admins can customize their workspace trash retention period in the admin panel, allowing them to choose between 30, 60, 90, and 180 days.

To delete a workspace:

1. Open your Airtable home screen.

2. Select the workspace you want to delete from the “Workspaces” section.

3. Click the … icon in the upper-right corner.

4. Click Delete workspace.

5. Click Delete workspace to confirm your choice.
