Gantt layout in timeline view overview
With the Gantt layout in timeline view, each record is visible in its lane, and dependencies are displayed as arrows between records (shown below). You can drag additional arrows between records to create dependency links.
Using Gantt layout in Airtable

Visit your Airtable homepage.
Open your preferred base.
Select your preferred timeline view.
Click Appearance in the menu and select the “Gantt” icon.
Click the ⌄ icon next to the “Record height” section and choose Short.
Click the ⌄ icon next to the “Record width” section and choose Precise.

Visit your Airtable homepage.
Open your preferred base.
Click Interfaces.
Select your preferred timeline view.
Gantt layout in timeline view limitations
The Gantt layout works in both timeline views and as a visualization in Airtable interface layouts, while Gantt view is only available in bases.
All records must be "Short" in height and "Precise" in width to Gantt layout in timeline view.
