Article Summary

Airtable has integrations with many popular third-party applications, as well as a robust API. These integrations can be found in the form of automation triggers or actions, table syncs, extensions, and more. They enable you to project the power of Airtable across your technical stack, but can also increase the complexity of your workflows. If you encounter errors involving a third-party integration with Airtable, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.

Initial troubleshooting steps

Starting out, if you're unsure of the specific issue, here are some general troubleshooting steps to try:

  1. Try reconnecting the external account to Airtable. Check out this guide for instructions.
  2. Try re-adding the external account as a new connection. The guide linked in step #1 will help with this as well.
  3. Lastly, if dealing with a table sync or an automation, try rebuilding that component from scratch. This might require some extra work, but rebuilding the component can help resolve most configuration issues.

If the general steps above didn't help, proceed by finding and reviewing the support article for that integration in our Help Center. This can help you pinpoint any configuration errors on the Airtable side of the connection. We've included some links to our integration articles below:

NOTE

When dealing with third-party integrations, our Support team is only able to offer assistance if the issue is on the Airtable side of the integration. To ensure a speedy resolution to your question, we recommend contacting the support team for the third-party service involved in your workflow if the error you're experiencing seems to be coming from that other piece of software.
